Howdy blog, oh, how I’ve missed you this past week. *hugs her monitor* LOL! Anyhoo….it’s Tuesday and I’m blogging about all of the quilty stuff that I have in the works.
Sangria Fizz Quilt needs to be quilted
Asterisk Quilt blocks need to be made
T-shirt quilt is a labor of love over time (since it’s for me)
Buzz Saw Quilt
I’ve not been able to move forward very quickly on sewing projects b/c my brain has been focused on my new job. So, since I work over-night tomorrow….I will need to stay up over-night tonight. And, I’m gonna SEW tonight in my sewing room while the whole house is uber-quiet! I’m gonna try to crank out the Buzz Saw quilt!

Holy Cow, sorry I’m late with my Christmas in July post, y’all. But, life has gotten in the way of my quilting this week. LOL! I’ve started my new job with the Missouri Lions Eye Banks and am loving it. It is sooooo rewarding, but very taxing on the ol’ brain. :)
Anyhooo…..Looks like we’ve got lots of Christmas in July blogs to visit. Have you been visiting others who have joined us? Do so and leave encouraging comments!
My Buzz Saw Quilt, I’ve completed 3 WHOLE blocks. LOL! I’ve realized that I will NOT reach my goal of getting 2 Christmas quilt tops done this month, but am hoping to push through and get this quilt top done. :) What’cha think?

Have you ever had your whole day mapped out and then have had to totally rearrange it? Well, this happened to me yesterday. As I’m taking the Monkey Dog and Psycho Kitty to the vet, my wonderful Dad calls me to say that he is coming over and gonna landscape my front yard for me. So, the IDIOT, I mean- great daughter that I am……….well, instead of quilting I did YARD WORK in 105 degree heat index yesterday. But, I am now ready to sow some grass seed and with LOTS of prayer and water……I may have grass in my front yard again! 
Anyhoo…..I had a choice yesterday to either be irritated that all my plans went to the wayside or to be happy that my Dad spoils me, even at my age. I choose the high road and to be a “spoiled” daughter. LOL!
I can’t wait to hopefully get some sewing in today and tomorrow night and have an AWESOME To Sew Tuesday updates for all of you guys? Have you noticed that we’ve got more peeps signed up for the Christmas in July Blitz? Check out their blogs and offer words of encouragement to them!

Okay, here it is week #3 on our Christmas Blitz time. I’ve started a new job this past week, so I’m behind on ALL sewing things it seems. LOL! Anyhoo…..here’s my post for this week and I can’t WAIT to see everyone else’s posts on their blogs too. I’ve gotten 6 squares done on my Buzz Saw quilt, which means 1 1/2 blocks. ONLY 18 1/2 to go!

Howdy and yes, I’m late with my To Sew Tuesday List. But, I’ve got an excellent reason….I’ve started my new job at the Missouri Lions Eye Research Foundation, working in their Eye Banks. It is exciting and I’m learning ALOT! Anyhoo….
My progress on last Tuesday’s list:
- Finish piecing Sangria quilt back.
Sangria Fizz quilt BASTED and sandwiched.
2. Sew 10 Asterisk Blocks. (only got 5 sew up this week)
16 total blocks done on the Asterisk Quilt
3. Finish piecing T-shirt quilt top (didn’t get to this)
4. Finish cutting fabric & Make 10 buzz saw blocks (Christmas quilt)
I have until Thursday!!!!
My new To Sew Tuesday List for this week:
GOALS:
1. Start quilting Sangria Fizz quilt. (need to buy colored thread)
2. Do 5 Asterisk Quilt blocks.
3. Finish T-shirt quilt top.
4. Sew up more Buzz Saw Quilt blocks.
