Being a Monkey Dog

Howdy and welcome to my spot on the blogsphere. My name is Shannon and I’m addicted to sewing. I sew and fill in my spare time with working full-time. Needle and thread complete me.
My venture into sewing has been serendipitous to say the least. My youngest daughter challenged me and my older daughter to learn how to sew and make quilts. That was almost 2 years and several quilts ago. When I’m not sewing, I’m thinking about sewing; when I am sewing I think about my next sewing project. Hence ………. I’m addicted!
Is there such a thing as a monkey dog? Yes, and she’s very special to me! You’ll see my monkey dog often along this blogging journey of mine. Eventhough she’s old; she is all about the lovin’. I’ve raised Portia since a wee pup and we’ve called her a monkey dog because when she whines……she sounds like a monkey.
